Agustin Vega

Legal Fellow

As a legal fellow at Centro Legal, Agustin represents tenants in unlawful detainer proceedings. He developed his passion for tenants’ rights in law school, where he clerked for Tobener Ravenscroft LLP and La Raza Centro Legal’s Housing Law program. He also participated in La Raza Law Students Association, the Public Interest Law Foundation, and his Moot Court Program’s Immigration and Asylum team.

In addition to tenants’ rights, Agustin has gained legal experience in economic justice working with Latinx business owners in San Mateo county, in general legal aid working with Indigenous farmworkers in Oregon, and in labor rights while working in Mexico City. He also worked as a counselor for the Hispanic National Bar Foundation during their annual summer institute, in which he mentored Latinx high school students interested in pursuing a legal career.

Agustin holds a Juris Doctor from the University of San Francisco School of Law, and a Bachelor of Arts in Ethnic Studies and English from Oregon State University.
