Elisha Crader

Housing Advocate

As a Housing Advocate within the Tenant’s Rights team, Elisha helps clients through their eviction cases by assisting them in preparing Answers, applying for Stays of Execution, understanding the legal process, and working alongside attorneys to prepare many of their case documents. Elisha was born and raised in Hayward and received her BA in the History of Public Policy from UC Santa Barbara where she wrote her senior dissertation on Chinese resistance to immigration restrictions in the Bay Area. Elisha hopes to pursue a career in policy change and advocacy and is especially passionate about fighting gentrification in the Bay Area. She is currently excited and grateful to be working with the Tenant Rights team at Centro Legal where she can assist her community and work alongside people with similar values and passions.
