Jennifer has worked at Centro Legal since 2010. She has over ten years of experience working in nonprofit administration and an extensive background in fundraising. In her role, Jennifer provides support to Centro Legal’s programs and staff and helps to ensure Centro Legal is a thriving organization. Prior to joining Centro Legal, Jennifer worked at the Unity Council on community and economic development projects in the Fruitvale District of Oakland, including environmental education and supporting small businesses and the day labor community. As a part of a volunteer collective, Jennifer led educational events and raised funds to provide legal support for families impacted by the femicides in Ciudad Juárez, Mexico. Jennifer has engaged in anti-racist training and is committed to being an ally working in solidarity with communities of color. Jennifer is honored to be able to support Centro Legal’s legacy and vision of equity and justice. Jennifer holds a BA in Sociology from the University of California, Berkeley.
