IMMIGRANTS’ RIGHTS GROUP
Jessica Dimas
Paralegal
Jessica joined Centro Legal de la Raza in September as an Immigration Paralegal focused on deportation defense for children and families. Prior to her work at Centro Legal, she interned at various immigrant rights’ and environmental justice organizations in the Bay Area and Boston, including Street Level Health Project, Communities for a Better Environment, and the Dudley Street Neighborhood Initiative.
Jessica received her B.A. in Community Health and American Studies from Tufts University. While there, she worked to establish equal opportunity for undocumented students by advocating for the university to commit to openly recruiting these students and providing financial assistance to all admitted students, regardless of citizenship status and whether or not students are DACA recipients.
