As an Immigrant’s Rights Legal Assistant on the Youth Project at Centro Legal, Nallely works primarily with unaccompanied minors seeking asylum, special immigrant juvenile status, and other forms of relief from deportation before the Immigration Court and U.S. Citizenship & Immigration Services.
Prior to joining Centro, Nallely was a Willie Brown Fellow at the San Francisco Human Rights Commission. There, her passion for social justice and youth empowerment was rooted. Nallely graduated with honors from San Francisco State University.
Nallely’s passion for immigrant’s rights stems from her own life experience as a DACA recipient. She appreciates the value of available legal services and resources to immigrant communities and is proud to be a part of Centro and its mission.
