DEVELOPMENT AND COMMUNICATIONS
Roxana Teran
Development Program Coordinator
Roxana has worked for various tech companies as well as non-profit organizations in the Bay Area and after contracting at Centro Legal for the past 6 months, has joined the Development Team full time. Roxana is most excited about helping the Development Team with strategic planning efforts and learning about sustainable and inclusive philanthropic giving.
Roxana is native to California and grew up in the outskirts of the Salinas Valley with her mother, father and two sisters. She is the middle child and is used to being the adaptable peacemaker in her family. She moved to the Bay Area 10 years ago to study at Saint Mary’s College in Moraga and is the first person in her family to graduate from a university. Since graduating, her mother and older sister have also completed their Bachelor’s degrees and are working in education.
Roxana’s parents both immigrated from Mexico in the early 80’s and are her source of inspiration and motivation. In her free time she likes to be outdoors in the garden or out in nature tracking down and identifying native plants and flowers. She is excited to be serving the community and working with you all.
